1995
Company creation (initially Technilin) by a local scutching cooperative. The mission is to upcycle short flax fibers. Mr François
Asselin, the founder, and the board of directors of the Baons le Comte flax mill—the cooperative at the time—had a clear vision: "it is by adding value to the tows that we will be able to better upcycle them and thus better compensate the farmers".
The company established its premises and started its first second-hand production line at Le Vert Galant, a long-standing partner. This unit made it possible to develop the products and present them to the automotive industry
1999
Obtained the first contract for a local automotive equipment manufacturer for the OPEL ASTRA door panels with Visteon.
2000
Relocation to the Valliquerville site and acquisition of a trial line from machine manufacturer Asselin.
2004
First manufacturing of glass fiber products for truck cabins (GFPP).
2006
Installation of a second new production line to double capacity, dedicated to natural fibers (NFPP).
2009
Name and ownership change. Acquisition by the British group Driftwell; the company officially becomes Eco-technilin SAS on
February 17, 2009, marking a new diversification strategy.
2011
Creation of the R&D department.
2017
Integration into the NatUp group (French agricultural cooperative). Eco-technilin merges with the start-up Linéo and opens a factory in Poland to serve Central and Eastern Europe.
2020
Merger with Linière St Martin, integrating internal tow processing and strengthening supply chain control.
2025
Market launch of RECYTAL technology for recycling thermocompression production scraps. Doubling of nonwoven capacity in Poland and for tow production in St Martin du Tilleul.
2026
Launch of the first project aligned with the new strategy: Making natural fibers visible to reduce environmental impact, costs, and part weight.
